The Congress will be held in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Brazil during the period 14 to 17 August 2013. The conference venue is just 60 km from the International Airport Guararapes - Recife / PE and 2.5 km from the town of Porto de Galinhas. The city is renowned for hosting several national and international scientific meetings because of its strong tourist appeal and small size, and reasonable cost for accommodation. Due to its small size,the town of Porto de Galinhas has the peculiarity of providing deep interaction among the congress participants.

Congress Venue

The congress will take place at the Convention Center of the Summerville Resort Hotel in Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco, Brazil.

The venue offers a fully integrated and secured complex with several meeting rooms of various sizes, with space for exhibitions, audio-visual equipment advanced video editing suites, broadcasting studio, well equipped business center, the connections internet wireless high speed, catering services, video-conferencing and interpretation services in various languages. In addition, Summerville offers a family friendly environment with on-site day care system that will facilitate participation by women.

Hotel Summerville Beach Resort is located 57 km (36 miles) south of Recife international airport in Porto de Galinhas.  Porto de Galinhas is a world famous tourist spot, well-known for the beauty of its beach front natural swimming pools formed on the coral reefs by the clear and warm Atlantic waters. The former fishermen’s village, of colorful history and located in a rich ecosystem of estuaries and mangroves, covered by coconut trees and spots of the former Atlantic rain forest, is nowadays an active handicraft center and hosts a variety of hotels and beach resorts.

 VACCINATIONS

An Immunization Record against Polio is necessary for children between the ages of three months and six years.

A Yellow Fever International Immunization Certificate (vaccination should occur at least 10 days before travel) is always required if the traveler has been to any of the following countries within the last 90 days of his/her Brazil’s entrance: Angola, Benin, Bissau Guinea, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Camerun, Central African Republic, Colombia, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana,  Guiana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenia, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Rwanda, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda or Venezuela.
